According to officials, a famous Japanese actor hired to promote a beer with low alcohol content got drunk and broke into his neighbor’s home.
Asahi Breweries is a giant of the drinks industry. They booked Ryo Yoshizawa, who was described by a fashion magazine as “national treasure class handsomeness”, for a commercial to promote their 3.5 percent Superdry Dry Crystal beer.
It is possible that the 30-year-old actor who is considered one of Japan’s leading actors consumed something stronger in December when he returned home.
According to Amuse, Yoshizawa’s talent agency, he “accidentally entered” the apartment next door.

“I’ve lost my memories. I think I just went in without asking, because I wanted to use the bathroom,” Yoshizawa was quoted by local media as telling police.
Shiori Shimizu of Asahi Group Holdings told AFP on Tuesday, “We decided to terminate the contract we had with Yoshizawa.”
Shimizu said, “As an alcohol beverage company, we find this action unacceptable, he will no longer be used for future advertising. “
Yoshizawa apologized to his surprised neighbor for the “major trouble he caused,” Amuse said, adding that the actor already vacated the apartment.

According to IMDB’s listing, Yoshizawa has around 80 credits. The Japan Times stated that he played a boy with deaf parents in the drama “Living in Two Worlds”, which aired last year. According to his Instagram account, Yoshizawa’s new film, “National Treasure”, is set to be released in 2025.
Tokyo Reporter reported Yoshizawa’s agency issued a statement saying: “We apologize for any inconvenience or concern caused to Yoshizawa’s fans and others involved.”
Japan is seeing a decrease in alcohol consumption. Low-percentage drinks without alcohol and abstinence have become more popular with young people.
