Two Pennsylvania election officials from Bucks County chose to break the law right before Donald Trump took over the Department of Justice. In a shocking video, Democrat Commissioner Diane Marseglia can heard proclaiming that she’s going to purposefully ignore multiple court rulings to count illegal votes.
This is a heated Senate race, in which Republican Dave McCormick beat Democrat incumbent Senator Bob Casey. But Democrats in Pennsylvania are still trying to rig the results.
This is what it looks like when an election is rigged.

MARSEGLIA: I’m not going to second this, mainly because we all know in this country that precedents by a court don’t matter anymore and people can violate laws whenever they want. I’m violating the law because I want to get a court’s attention.
This is a story about the counting of ballots that do not pass signature tests, among other situations disqualifying them as per Pennsylvania law. These laws have been upheld by multiple courts, including Pennsylvania’s Supreme Court. Marseglia and fellow Democrat Commissioner Bob Harvie voted for them to be counted anyway, not because they were ignorant, but even though they broke the law.
I know that the courts are almost certain to step in and stop it, but what if they didn’t know about it at all? What if Republicans lacked the resources to bring the required lawsuits? This is what’s most concerning. How many times do we not know about something like this because the county commissioners, or whatever they are called in other states, never speak out?
Marseglia supported Kamala before the election. One of the people tasked with counting the votes honestly promised to “deliver Bucks County” to the vice president.
Will this ultimately change the outcome Pennsylvania Senate race? This doesn’t seem likely. McCormick told me that even if the court did not intervene, there were still too few ballots to alter the result.
In conclusion, I’m not bothered. They need to be held accountable. Marseglia, Harvie, and the Trump DOJ need to be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. They are both on video violating the laws knowingly. Imagine what they will do in the next election if they are allowed to get away with this. To combat this subversion of elections, we must create a deterrent. Election officials who violate election laws should face the same punishment as random voters.
The Republican response is that the Pennsylvania GOP and RNC will be taking legal action very soon to stop these illegal votes from being counted. What if the Republicans didn’t even know that this had occurred? What if this all happened behind closed doors? The hammer must be dropped here if the majority of Americans are to ever trust the elections in the United States.
